This is a very good hardcover 2 volume set (complete) in a very good dust jackets with just light edge-wear. Completely clean inside and out. This is the two volume reprint of Macquoid's classic reference, 'A History of English Furniture. The Age of Oak and the Age of Walnut. The Age of Mahogany and the Age of Satinwood', first published in 1904-05. Volume 1 contains the first two of Macquoid's original four volumes, and volume 2 contains the last 2 of Macquoid's original 4 volumes. Illustrated throughout in black & white with approximately 1000 photographs in these volumes + 8 color plates (4 per volume). 11" high X 9" wide, about 243 & 255 pages.
