This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Artcurial in Paris on May 24, 2016. The sale included an exceptional group of pieces by Maxime Old (1910 - 1991) a master of art deco furniture designs. The pieces offered here are from his commission in 1970 in Marseille for the offices of the Port Autonome of Marseille. 24 lots by Maxime Old in the sale. 164 lots in all. The term Art Nouveau is mainly used in Belgium and France, while in Austria and Germany Jugendstil is used.
