Crazy Knife the stone-faced Henry Silva a Cheyenne warrior captures Wild Bill Hickok Murray and takes him to Chief Black Kettle Simon Oakland who subsequently sets him free. Hickok meets up with Calamity Jane Dalton only until she is captured by Crazy Knife. Hickok manages to save Calmity in time for the new office in command to arrive General Custer Leslie Nielsen. <br/><br/>Shot on location in California and Utah. <br/><br/>27 x 41 inches folded. 1973144189Los Angeles: American Film Institute AFI 1973. Vintage borderless photograph of director David Lynch actor Jack Nance and cinematographer Herbert Cardwell on the set of the 1977 film. holograph annotations on the verso. <br/><br/>"Eraserhead" Lynch's first feature film was was shot piecemeal on an AFI backlot in Los Angeles over a period of five years beginning in 1972. In 1973 two years into the project cinematographer Herbert Cardwell shown in this photo died in his sleep at the age of 35. He was replaced after four weeks of searching by Frederick Elmes. <br/><br/>David Lynch's first feature film. The AFI provided the director with use of their lot where he also lived during much of filming at no charge but he had difficulty getting financial assistance from them on the basis of his 20-page script and decidedly unorthodox methods. Terence Malick screened the film at one point for a financial backer who walked out calling the movie "bullshit." A bad call as the film's wild success on the midnight movie circuit-and subsequent success as a legitimate art film gained the vocal admiration of everyone from Charles Bukowski to Stanley Kubrick. <br/> <br/>7x 4.5 inches. 1992131074New York: Rosenstone / Wender Agency 1992. Revised Draft script for the 1992 play. Brief notation in holograph pencil on the title page noting a date of 6/12/92. The final page of text notes this draft was revised on May 24 1992. <br/><br/>Mamet's play premiered in May 1992 in Cambridge Massachusetts starring William H. Macy and Rebecca Pidgeon. Loosely based on the Thomas-Hill Hearings of 1991 the play starred Macy as a university professor accused of sexual misconduct by one of his female students played by Pidgeon who one critic described as "Mamet's most fully realized female character.a mousy confused cipher." Macy would reprise his role in Mamet's own 1994 film adaptation starring opposite Debra Eisenstadt. The play finally opened on Broadway in 2009 starring Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles. <br/><br/>White wrappers dated 1991 and 1992 with a credit for playwright Mamet.
