Based on William Makepeace Thackeray's 1848 novel "Vanity Fair." <br/><br/>Based on Thackeray's classic novel the film was the first feature length film to be shot with the three-strip Technicolor technique. However the poorly written script made the film rather unsuccessful commercially. Miriam Hopkins was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance. <br/><br/>10 x 8 inches.
