1958133Early Don Grant hardcover: per both the jacket and the inside limitation page this is one of 350 copies all signed. Chalker and Owings 3rd ed say that Grant told them there were 500 copies but that seems likely to be a lapse in Grant's memory and Chalker/Owings has enough other errors including in the Mirage Press entry for me to take anything they say with a grain of salt. This book is a very early example of "sympathy for the monster" fiction and includes the original sequel from Weird Tales "The Werewolf's Daughter". A fairly scarce book: this copy is clean inside as most are -- its owners must read very carefully; the jacket has several small tears notably at the top and bottom of the spine and a small line of discoloration on the right front side. It's also slightly folded over the top of the book as if it hadn't been pressed down correctly at some point. The book presents well on the shelf. Grandon hardcover
