A little foxing at front blank and the pages are not bright but text is effectively unblemished. Reference: Graesse 4 92; <br /><br />First printing of a fifteenth-century Scottish version of the Arthurian romance that was composed for the court of James III. It survived in a unique and incomplete manuscript in the Cambridge library. The text was edited by the librarian of Durham Cathedral Joseph Stevenson and published by the Maitland Club an association dedicated to the promotion of Scottish literature and culture.
