Three Issues of Boy's Life Magazine - May June July 1958 containing the short work of science fiction by Robert A. Heinlein - Tenderfoot in Space. These are all oversized magazines in Very Good- to Very Good condition and all were issued without dust jackets. The magazine covers have some light edge wear and creasing to the spine ends and corners. The spines of two of the magazines have sunning. The July issue has a two inch tear to the bottom spine end. There is a bit of a dusty smell to the insides of the magazines. The magazines are illustrated with both color and black and white illustrations throughout. ""A Tenderfoot in Space" is a short story by Robert A. Heinlein serialized in Boys' Life magazine in May June and July 1958. The original working title was "Tenderfoot on Venus" when it was written in 1956. It was extensively cut according to orders by the magazine editor for its published form. It was reprinted in the retrospective Requiem: New Collected Works by Robert A. Heinlein and Tributes to the Grand Master. .A boy and his dog emigrate to Venus. B&W Illustrations; This is a bound copy of The Century Magazine from Nov. 1892 through 1893 which features the first appearance of Mark Twain's 1000000 pound Bank Note. The book is in Very Good to Near Very Good condition and was likely issued thus without a dust jacket. This copy is bound in Green cloth with gilt lettering to the spine and embossed decorations on all three parts of the covers. The text pages are generally clean and bright. There are spots of foxing / toning to the top edges of some of the book's pages. The Mark Twain story is found on pages 338 - 346. . The Century Company hardcover

A stapled pamphlet in brown card wraps. 16pp landscape 8vo. A striking and attractive item designed to look like a young child’s notebooks the covers having the deliberate appearance of a brown-paper wrapper with a mock-charcoal illustration of Churchill in tin ‘Victory’ hat and blue boilersuit smoking a long cigar. Title on cover: ‘Close-ups Through a childs sic eyes by Bert Thomas’. Purportedly the work of a child named ‘Pam’ the pamphlet contains childlike images and text with pages on ‘Mr Churchill’ ‘Mr Roosevelt’ ‘Premier Stalin’ ‘Gen. This is an old "bound periodical" from 1962 to 1964 that includes 10 Issues of the Adams Mens Magazine - "The Mens Home Companion" back in the 60s. All of the magazines are complete including the front covers and clean and unmarked. There are lots of nude photos from the 1960s in these. The book has soft cardboard covers and the title on the front cover says "ADAM 820 - Deluxe Perma Bound". I am listing two of these old books today - this one has Adam Issues from 1962 to 1964 including: Volume 6 Issue 4 - Volume 7 Issues 345678 - plus the 1964 Yearbook Issue Plus ADam Bedside REader Issues 10 and 11. The covers show some edgewear but the magazines are all nice and clean and do not appear to have ever been read. We always ship in a sturdy box. Knight Publishing unknown
