Gilt rolls along the perimeters of the front and rear boards and with elaborate gilt stamping on the spine. All edges gilt. The center field on the front cover is gilt-stamped "H. Junker von Thalieschweiler / 1853." Yellow endpapers. There are some family genealogy notations on the rear pastedown in German from the 1850s to the 1860s. Title page is browned and has some water spotting. Text is toned and occasionally foxed or spotted but is quite sound. This volume contains mostly text although there are occasional score with simple notations. There is a Register of songs at the rear. An attractive and serviceable copy.
