Elizabeth; or the Exiles of Siberia a popular French historical romance novel. The story centers on Elisabeth a young girl determined to rescue her father from exile in Siberia driven by an unwavering sense of filial duty and deep love for her family. Written by Sophie Cottin a French writer whose novels were popular in the nineteenth century and were translated into several languages. Bound in full straight grained morocco. Externally smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the boards with small cracks to the front joint. Internally firmly bound.
