A first edition of George Isaac Huntingford's scarce work in which he provides guidance for those with ambitions of joining the holy order of priests. Before successively being appointed Bishop of Gloucester and Bishop of Hereford Huntingford was a master of his own school Winchester College. In the present work the warden offers an explanation of ordination and absolution for aspiring clergymen. The volume has been removed from a bound volume and a previous owner has added their own page numbers to the top right hand corners of the pages. Disbound. Externally sound with a slither of the original spine remaining. Internally firmly bound with bright and clean pages throughout. Good Cadell and Davies unknown

T.: »Gesang- und Registerbildung« Hamburg 1887 und eine Übersetzung von Mackenzie's "Hygiene of the vocal organs". Von den übrigen Publikationen sind hervorzuheben: "Permanente Tamponade der Trachea" v. Langenbeck's Archiv 1882 - "Ueber Keuchhustenbehandlung" mit Pulvereinblasungen in die Nase D. m. W. 1886 - "Doppelmeissel für adenoide Vegetationen" B. k. W. 1880 - "Aphonia und Dyspnoea spastica" W. m. Pr. 1885. Zum 80jähr. Stiftungsfeste des Hamburger ärztl.
