1965z0231Publishers Newspaper Syndicate 1965. Original art of the Miss Peach comic strip April 28 1965 featuring a cluster of confused & exasperated children considering various methods of sorting themselves into the "appropriate" genders. This cataloguer believes the humor to relate to the then-serious problem of hair length in young men widely satirized at the time rather than a 60-year-prescient nod to societal gender-conformity obsessions. INSCRIBED by Lazarus along the top margin "For John Fischetti who wore blue with all good wishes!" and SIGNED along the bottom margin by Lazarus whose signature is also present in the panel. .
