1973605416London: Children of God 1973. Unbound. Very Good. First edition. 24mo. One sheet folded twice. Stains and a few small creases very good. Moses a.k.a. David Berg was the founder and leader of the Children of God cult which at its height of popularity reached tens of thousands of members including River and Joaquin Phoenix and Rose McGowan. In 1976 Berg encouraged followers to use a method of evangelism he termed "Flirty Fishing" which used sexual intimacy to attract men to the cult who would otherwise not be open to it. After ex-members accused the group of decades of abuse a British court found the group to be an authoritarian cult which "engaged in the systematic physical and sexual abuse of children." Berg sent out approximately 3000 "Mo Letters" on various subjects to communicate with his followers. This one addresses the "white devils" and calls on his "Sons of All Colours" for more diversity in carrying on the Revolution for Jesus. Mo Letter No. 105. Children of God unknown
