Set is heavily foxed but text is still fully legible. Some leaves have detached yet are present and laid in. Clarke was a British journalist and author. settled in Paris in 1872 as the resident correspondent of The Daily Telegraph and he served as member of the Jury at the two Paris Exhibitions of 1878 and 1889.
