All multicolored areas obtained through the medium of seriagraphy. Box binding with floral cloth side panels a printed gray paper title label atop a telescoping spine composed of five stepped planes. Additionally the text includes raised and recessed leaves including the title page which incorporates a stretched netting meant to resemble opera hose and decoratively cut edges. Adam Ferguson was a noted Scottish agriculturalist. He journeyed to America and Canada in 1831 on what would be the first of two important tours which he would turn into eminently readable narrative accounts. He was so impressed with Upper Canada that he would move his family there in 1833 establishing his home Woodhill near Waterdown Ontario.
