Noah Worcester 1758-1837 was born in New Hampshire and would become a noted a clergyman. He published several important tracts on religious subjects and appears to have had some unorthodox views of the holy trinity and published a few articles on the subject. However around the time of the War of 1812 Worcester reflected on the effects of war and became a pacifist. In 1814 he first published his "A Solemn Review of the Custom of War" which would continue in several other editions.
