198686597For The Author 1986. First Thus. Quarto. 28.5cm. Comb-bound with red card covers. 147pp. printed rectos only. Clean and strong very little wear; internally clean and fresh with the blindstamp of Nathaniel Tarn to the contents page. A very good bright copy.

Essentially a xeroxed text examining a very specific part of the observances and discipline of Dzogzen yoga the school that Namkhai Norbu dedicated his teaching life to. Chogyal Namkhai Norbu was one of the last great Tibetan born masters of Yoga born prior to the Chinese annexation of Tibet living much of his life in exile and rising to the position of Professor of Eastern and Tibetan Languages at Naples Eastern University and founder of the Shang Shung Institute School of Tibetan Medicine in Conway Massachussetts itself part of a larger complex for Buddhist studies. This specific work seems difficult to place in Norbu's body of work but fits into the period when he was working on his "Longsal" teachings and it may feature in that larger body of work. This work is not locatable in this form in US instituions/OCLC. For The Author unknown
