The frontispiece 'Plan of Weymouth' folds out to roughly 38 x 26 cm with the dimensions of the print roughly 26 x 22 cm. Engraved beneath the print: 'J. Ham Delin. Engraved by B. Baker for Harveys New Weymouth Guide'. Unbound and stitched in original plain wraps. Tight and with text and image clear and entire but a little dogeared with damp staining to map and at foot of rear and with wear and staining to wraps. Informative and attractively produced. Two pieces of information help to date the item: BBTI gives Virtue's trading dates as 1798-1800 and the last M.P. named is Sir James Pultney in 1796. Scarce.
