Stephen Grellet (1773-1855) was a prominent French born Quaker missionary. In 1804 he married Rebecca, the daughter of the New Jersey publisher Isaac Collins, and became very involved in American Quakerism. To him is attributed the quote": "I shall pass through this life but once. Any good therefore that I can do, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it. For I shall never pass this way again."
