History of the rituals and mourns of Fatimids. "Fatimids knew that one way to change the social behaviour was to use the same rituals and customs that strengthened religious and national identity. These rituals and ceremonies by creating a lively and active atmosphere invited people to social participation and strengthen mass communication which led to creation of unity between tribes and heterogeneous institutions in different neighborhoods of Egypt. Moreover showing cultural rituals reconstructed the cultural identity of their followers. While holding these festivals and mourning ceremonies imposed exorbitant costs and expenses on Fatimid government in general the glorious holding of these celebrations was a reflection of the good economic condition of the Fatimid court. In this work by using the usual historical methods based on accurate descriptions first I have presented vivid pictures of the festivals celebrations and mourning of this era and in the following I have analyzed the afore-mentioned customs and rituals in details.
