"The War of Munitions - How Great Britain has Mobilised Her Industries" poster has text plus several cartoon-type illus several fold lines on this poster; 5. " America's Creed. Victory Bonds". Mostly undated but 1918 and 1919. Would make a fine exhibition. Photographs available. All posters are guaranteed original. Each poster is held in flat cardboard artwork sleeve with cellophane face. Chaque numéro de la revue comprend quatre affiches reproduites au format cloche et en chromolithographie présentant pour chacune un timbre à sec d'authentification. 20422Feminism Feminist Women's Vintage Poster archive of 2 posters from the 1970s. All are in vibrant color with slogans and are all about 11" x 17". This vintage poster collection celebrates the feminist women's movement in the United States during the mid-70s. Posters include: "Down With Male Chauvinist Pigs" and one saying "Support Equal Rights Amendment". According to previous owner these posters are new old stock meaning they have been kept in mint condition since their creation in 1975-76. They are a rare particularly the poster that highlights the Equal Rights Amendment a proposed amendment to the United States Constitution designed to guarantee equal legal rights for all American citizens regardless of sex. Proponents assert it would end legal distinctions between men and women in matters of divorce property employment and other matters. The first version of an ERA was written by Alice Paul and Crystal Eastman and introduced in Congress in December 1923. The posters feature powerful imagery and slogans that were used to inspire change during a pivotal time in American history. Archive is in very good condition. unknown
15923YWCA "Care for Her" poster c. 1915. Original large WWI poster backed on linen 41" x 27." This poster prominently features a woman factory worker confidently holding up an early biplane. It states "Care for Her through the YWCA: " "For every fighter a woman worker!" This charming and highly effective poster was created for the YWCA which played an important role in improving the welfare of women throughout WWI. It highlights the emergence of the female industrial worker who proved to be a versatile and skilled performer. The YWCA advocated for women's rights in the workplace limiting lengthy shifts and prohibiting night work. Treidlercreated this poster and was a skilled and prolific illustrator was famous for his posters in World War I and World War II. Some age related toning and some wear with minor loss of color in some areas and minor repairs. Colors are still strong. Overall in good condition. unknown books
