Sunned spine panel frayed at extremities mild evidence of mending along front joint rubbed along rear joint. Several small areas of cloth loss on front cover overall flecking and soiling to cloth. Text block generally clean somewhat toned with penciled notes on pp. 128-129. Former owner's signature on title page: Mildred Jones Leipzig Germany 8-21-'05 "Moltke" Hamburg American. 944 pp. illus. color maps and foldouts. The 7-panel foldout on Montreux - the Bernese Oberland at p. 529 shows some edge chipping and tape re-attachment along one fold; Mailand map at p. 624 detached but present.
