Two volumes. Octavo. Pp. 285; 289-662. With a total of 80 plates printed in fine collotype, 40 to each volume. Original printed wrappers, bit discoloured and finger soiled. In a very good condition. ~ First edition. Beautifully illustrated. Collotype is one of the most accurate and attractive methods of photomechanical tonal printing processes. Highly skilled and expensive process, it cannot produce more than a limited number of impressions.
