23331London: Oasis. A presentation display comprising a compact disc of Oasis's debut album 'Definitely Maybe' mounted against a gold-effect disc within a glazed frame together with an inset reproduction of the album artwork and an engraved-style plaque referencing sales in the United Kingdom. The CD label signed in black marker by members of the band including Liam Gallagher Noel Gallagher Paul Arthurs "Bonehead" Paul McGuigan "Guigsy" and Tony McCarroll. Framed and glazed; overall dimensions 53 by 43 cm. Released in August 1994 'Definitely Maybe' was Oasis's debut album and became the fastest-selling debut in British chart history at the time heralding the emergence of the Britpop movement and establishing the group as one of the most influential British bands of the late twentieth century. Central to its success were the song-writing of Noel Gallagher and the distinctive vocal delivery of his brother Liam supported by the band's original line-up including guitarist Paul Arthurs bassist Paul McGuigan and drummer Tony McCarroll the latter departing the group in 1995. Signed material incorporating all members of this early formation is comparatively scarce particularly examples including McCarroll whose tenure with the band was brief but coincided with their formative and most culturally impactful period. While the present display is a later presentation rather than an official record industry award it offers an attractive and cohesive visual format combining autograph material with imagery from one of the defining albums of the 1990s. A desirable and evocative piece of Britpop-era memorabilia closely associated with the rise of Oasis and the enduring legacy of 'Definitely Maybe'. Oasis unknown

Tight and internally fine with just the slightest general binding wear.
