Published a month after the first edition. An SAS classic. In the war in North Africa, LRDG (Long Range Desert Group), forerunner of the SAS, won a reputation out of all proportion to its size and short existence. Lloyd Owen's classic account of Y2 Patrol is a key account. EARLY PRINTINGS ARE SCARCE IN THE DUSTWRAPPER. Enser, p.251 (recording the first edition).
