The cards show views from: Kaapstad, Cape Town, Transvaal, Blaauwberg, Mowbray, Kaappunt, Simonstad, Stellenbosch, Namakwaland, Swellendam, Die Paarl, Oudtshoorn, Port Elizabeth, Komgha, Durban, Pretoria, Goudstad, Johannesburg, Suid-Rhodesie, Swaziland, etc. binding a bit rubbed, Some pages a bit foxy. Otherwise very good condition.

Brown served as naturalist on an expedition sent by the US Government to the west coast of Africa in 1889, but remained as collector, big-game hunter, gold seeker, landowner, citizen and solder during seven years' participation in the early development of Rhodesia.
