Georgie Fame born Clive Powell in 1943 is a still-active English R&B and jazz performer. According to Wikipedia Fame is the only British music act to have achieved three UK No. 1 hits with his only top 10 chart entries: "Yeh Yeh" in 1964 "Get Away" in 1966 and "The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde" in 1967. This press booklet has four parts: a rundown of business information; a full biography of Fame; a brief biography; and a selection of diary items and paragraphs 11 pages in all. Two of the photos are of Fame alone; one is with his group the Blue Flames. Very good condition. The faded ink inscription reads Mrs. J. N. Glenn Decatur Ga." The second original front blank end sheet is inscribed by the author but not signed and reads - "Mrs. J. N. Glenn from the author. Although many critics interpreted O'Keeffe's flower paintings as reflections of femininity in general and female sexuality in particular the artist strongly opposed such readings.
