PILSUDSKI (Lituania 1867-Varsavia 1935), deportato in Siberia, nel 1893 entrò a Varsavia nel partito socialista rivoluzionario polacco; arrestato dalla polizia russa, evase in Galizia; nel 1914 "ferreo creatore delle Legioni Polacche", ottenne nel 1916 l'indipendenza della Polonia, ma come stato fantoccio di Austria-Ungheria e Germania, ma dopo il 1918 rovesciò il Consiglio di Reggenza istituito dagli Imperi Centrali per governare la Polonia e assunse la guida della nuova Repubblica Polacca. La prefazione fi Eugenio Coselschi rivela che Kociemski "fu accanto al Duce, in quella meravigliosa palestra della nostra vita nuova che fu ed è "Il Popolo d'Italia".
