This is the program for the Brattleboro Pageant presented at Island Park in the Connecticut River 4 times between June 5th and 12th 1912 including 3 performances of Royall Tyler’s ‘The Contrast’. The pageant consisted of 11 ‘episodes’ e.g. ‘The Deerfield Captives’ ‘Green Dragon Inn Boston’ ‘The Arms Tavern: Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys’ ‘Life in the Watercure Days’ etc. Each episode includes short history synopsis of the piece cast of characters and actor’s names.
