Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. 273 pages with b&w photos throughout. Hinges of front and back pastedowns cracked. Inscription of previous owner dated 1873 on front free endpaper. Some foxing at top of title page, and elsewhere occasionally in the text. Originally 22 plates, now missing plate facing page 95, 'Blaize Purchasing the Infallible Antidotes', two other plates loose. Wear to cover extremities.
