A near fine example. John Barleycorn originally an autobiographical novel written by Jack London in 1913 was adapted into a silent film in 1914. It portrayed London's journey with alcoholism and sobriety. <br /> The film has been "lost" for decades meaning that there is no present day record of it in any studio archive public archive private collection or in the Library of Congress.<br /> AFI.
