Strauss". Strauss was a core figure in the development of American nuclear weapons and energy recently portrayed by Robert Downey Jr as the antagonist in the 2023 film Oppenheimer. His memoirs span the period from the First World War to his failure to be nominated Secretary of Commerce in 1959 and cover his work as an investment banker as an admiral and with the Atomic Energy Commission. It deals with the Dixon-Yates case the Oppenheimer security review and his work on the hydrogen bomb. Octavo. Original grey cloth spine and front cover lettered in gilt on black ground.
