Each of the four corners are compromised including small losses at all corners except the lower left. Scattered surface soiling and pencil inscriptions in the margins. Some pages have foxing and tanning several pages have writing in pencil and some pages have spotting. Front endpaper has a gift inscription from a captain and a folded card has a letter dated from 1888 from the captain to a colonel making him a gift of this book. Book is in fair condition.
