8vo., Third Edition, some very lighty spotting (mainly marginal); original green cloth, sides framed in blind, gilt back, gilt top, uncut, cream endpapers, joints lightly rubbed else a good, bright, firm copy. With personal bookplate and signature on front paste-down, and 8pp publisher's catalogue at end. Malleson's edition was first published in 1880; for the present edition he makes substantial revisions to the contents on the advice of Allen and T J Wise, adding several letters for the first time, and making minor abridgements to the Replies.
