Corners slightly bumped binding square and strong. Contents clean and quite bright. A very good copy in good jacket. A rare toy book illustrated by Florence Harrison and E. Dorothy Rees. Florence Harrison 1877-1955 was an accomplished illustrator of children's book in both Pre-Raphaelite and Art Nouveau styles. She illustrated works by Christina Rossetti William Morris and Alfred Tennyson. Her illustration to this volume evokes the fin-de-si�cle poster style that she was celebrated for. E. Dorothy Rees 1891-1967 was a similarly accomplished writer and illustrator of children's books best known for her illustrations of small animals and little girls. A rather sweet rarity. Scarce. H. Harriman the time Greta Garbo came to see her Florence La Gatta's home and more. All in all a nice chatty letter consisting of good memories. N.p. unknown
