Clearwater d'Ailly extends his "hearty greetings" to the members of the Saint Nicholas Society on the occasion of the society's anniversary. He apologizes for not being able to attend the dinner "but I hope to meet you on another visit to the United States of America." Signed "AJD" with his initials as Burgomaster Mayor of Amsterdam. Folded for mailing with minor creases to the edges.
