He settled in Jerusalem in 1938. Grunwald was a many-sided and productive scholar. In 1907 he left Russia to study philosophy and history at the University of Berlin . There he published articles which appeared in most of the worlds Hebrew language newspapers as well as in other sectors of the Jewish press.
