Relié 2 tomes en un vol. in-4, plein vélin ancien, dos à nerfs avec le titre manuscrit, décor d'encadrement et fleuron central estampé à froid sur les plats, tranches rouges, XVII + 355 et 406 pp. + (17 p.). Edition originale illustrée de 10 portraits hors-texte et de 22 vignettes historiées gravées en titre ou en bandeaux. Histoire classique des croisades de l'église catholique contre les paysans et les partisans de Jan Huss en Bohême au XVe siècle. L'auteur (1661-1728) était un pasteur allemand d'origine française. Infime épidermure au dos en pied, mais solide et élégant vélin estampé d'époque. La page de titre porte le tampon de la bibliothèque du duc de Caraman (1762-1839).

Ejemplar falto de la primera página de texto que llevaba tambien el retrato del autor. Impresión en papel superior con amplios márgenes. Encuadernación de época en media piel, con tejuelo.
In 4° (31x19,5 cm); (4), 198 (i. e. 298) pp. e una c. di tav. Bellissima legatura coeva i n piena pergamena molle con titolo chiosato da elegante grafia coeva lungo tutta la lunghezza del dorso. Qualche pagina uniformemente e leggermente brunita a causa della qualità della carta e nel complesso esemplare in ottime condizioni di conservazione. La maggior parte degli esemplari si presenta senza alcuna tavola fuori testo, qualche esemplare presenta 3 tavole fuori testo (un antiporta, un ritratto ed una tavola genealogica), il nostro una sola tavola con il ritratto dell'Imperatore Carlo II di Spagna e chiaramente, nel nostro esemplare, altre tavole non sono mai state aggiunte o tolte da esso. Prima edizione anche se esistono esemplari con la data del 1691 con un numero di tavole variabili da 2 a una, di questa celebre opera storica dedicata alla monarchia Austriaca, opera del noto abate olivetano, appartenente alla comunità ermetica senese di Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Bonaventura Tondi. Esemplare in buone-ottime condizioni di conservazione ed in bella legatura coeva.
