Prima edizione italiana di quest'opera curata dal celebre viaggiatore, politico e geografo francese Domeny de Rienzi che raccoglie la storia, la geografia ma anche gli usi e costumi, le lingue e l'economia dei territori ed isole dell'Oceania, Borneo, Melanesia, Micronesia e Polinesia, Malesia.
