A detailed description of the country, the peoples, tribes, gauchos, buildings, institutions, methods of travel, trade and commerce, climate, the authors travels throughout area, fauna and flora, the Andes, resources, hunting, agriculture, artisans, travels up the Uruguay river, Rioja, Salta, Tucuman, down the Parana river.
