He made two trips to America, traveling extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic states (especially around the cities of: Philadelphia; Baltimore; and New York). His journal contains of interesting anecdotes - including some about Blacks, Quakers, Indians, etc. Examples of this famous work were usually rebound, and are now rarely found in this original condition. Kenneth McRobbie was born in London, England on February 6, 1929. He came to Canada in 1954. He was founding editor of the literary journal, Mosaic, and translates poetry from Hungarian. His writing tends towards the social and political. He teaches history part-time at the University of British Columbia.
