Having spent his earlier years in and around Vanderhoof, he and his family have also lived in Dawson Creed and Terrace. They have since retired to Salmon Arm. Some paper faults and old tears, but without loss. First American Edition. Very good. Sutcliff was a Quaker merchant from Sheffield, England. He made two trips to America, traveling extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic states (especially around the cities of: Philadelphia; Baltimore; and New York). His journal contains of interesting anecdotes - including some about Blacks, Quakers, Indians, etc. Examples of this famous work were usually rebound, and are now rarely found in this original condition.
