This Volume 2 (of 2) two contains the official reports and correspondence which form the documentry record detail of the battles, campaigns, expeditions, etc. in both the Civil War and the Indian Wars. The Indian War information is rarely encountered. This volume bears an inscription: 'Compliments of C.J. Humanson, Civil War Record Clerk, St. Paul, Minn. May 20, 1911.'
