Faint age toning; binding traces at margin and two very small tape stains at edges of front wrapper; contemporary ownership signature at top of front wrapper. First edition of this talk first given before the American Institute of Instruction. Interestingly there are about a dozen editorial-type corrections throughout in the margins in a 19th century iron gall ink though whether these are authorial in nature or simply a fastidious reader remains to be determined.
