Bookplate removed from each pastedown ownership inscription on front pastedown. Internally clean. Overall very good. An excellent collection of rare or scarce pamphlets relating to East Florida land claims. Many of the pamphlets were written by Charles E. Sherman who served as the attorney for the American and Spanish claimants in East Florida. This sammelband belonged to attorney Charles B. Collier with his ownership inscription on the front pastedown and his annotations to Sherman's BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE LAW AND FACTS SET FORTH IN THE MEMORIAL AND ACCOMPANYING PAPERS. number 16 below. Collier worked with Sherman on behalf of the East Florida claimants. Two of Collier's publications are included here see numbers 17 and 25 below. The imprints included here are as follows in the order in which they are bound: 1 James Cooper and Charles E.
