Overall good. <br/><br/>An original panorama photograph print of a Civilian Conservation Corps camp; Company No. 1616 at Standish Michigan. The installation appears small with two permanent buildings and six tents visible in the aerial view. Little has been recorded about the activities of the company though it's assigned project numbered "S-75" was likely the construction of a highway bridge over the Mollasses River which appears finished in the background of this image. During The Depression the CCC offered non-skilled labor opportunities to young unmarried men between the ages of 18-25. The paid time was served in six month stints with a maximum enrollment period of two years. Between 1933 and 1942 over 3 million young men were assigned to various conservation and infrastructure projects across The United States earning thirty dollars a month at the height of The Depression.
