Richly illustrated throughout with black and white photographic plates presenting staged and documentary-style imagery. Including two works edited under the direction of Heinrich Hoffmann 1885-1957 Adolf Hitler"s official photographer and a central figure in the visual propaganda apparatus of the Third Reich. Hoffmann"s publishing house produced widely disseminated image-led works designed to construct and reinforce Nazi narratives both domestically and abroad.
