Though the railway observed great popularity in the 1910s and 20s "the bloom began to come off the rose in the early 1930s as the Great Depression hit the YV hard and the following years only brought further difficulty as paved roads and automobiles cut ever deeper into the company's profit margins." The railway ceased operations in July of 1944 making this no. 116 timetable the last of the schedules produced by the Company. No other Yosemite Valley Railway timetables available in the trade.
