The trucks featured a split-window design gasoline tank mounted upright behind seat in the cab with the filler neck near the passenger door handle and now the badge numbers designated cargo capacity. First edition of this exceedingly scarce technical work on the mechanics and repair of White Buses and chassis used for White Trucks. The White Motor Company also owned the truck manufacturing names of Sterling Autocar Diamond T and REO which continued up through the 1970s. Their buses became especially well known in the 1930s when their Model 706 buses carried passengers throughout the major National Parks such as Yellowstone Yosemite and Glacier in the west and were called Red Jammers. The 1951 Chevrolet truck models had raised and squared off the rear ends reshaped the taillights and moved the trailing edges of the fenders.
