A small trade catalogue promoting barrel trucks wheeled racks which hold barrels and allow them to be moved around a warehouse or shop. Illustrated with two full-page images interior scenes of a "wholesale liquor store" and of a "retail grocery" each showing the barrel trucks in use. The broadside folded inside is a list of first-year purchasers of the "1665 Barrel Truck" and is torn at the edges. The handbill itself is fine clean and bright. Unrecorded. First edition of this exceedingly scarce dealer’s brochure/poster for the Kentucky Wagon Old Hickory trucks which at the time were available in 3/4 ton 1 ton and 1 1/4 ton configuration and truck bodies could also be ordered. The company had originally begun manufacturing Dixie Flyer Hercules & Crown automobiles in 1916 and by 1920 had completed of the Studebaker wagon works and continued to manufacture truck bodies dump trucks truck trailers and tow trucks. The massive factory located on 3rd St. in Louisville churned out many different styles and types of trucks trailers and trailer bodies. No copies in Worldcat.
