These Chevrolet trucks were the first new line-up since General Motors line-up of 1942 due to War restrictions. The trucks featured a split-window design gasoline tank mounted upright behind seat in the cab with the filler neck near the passenger door handle and now the badge numbers designated cargo capacity.
